LEAP4FNSSA workshop: Upscaling private sector participation and science-based outreach in West Africa

The LEAP4FNSSA workshop on Upscaling private sector participation and science-based outreach in West Africa contributes to the implementation of the R&I FNSSA Roadmap and the International Research Consortium. It facilitates the collaboration of research institutions with private sector and strengthen the impact of research and innovation on food, agriculture, and environment.

LEAP4FNSSA project partners, research organisations and private sector entities from Africa and Europe are invited to participate in the workshop to discuss how bi-continental collaboration contributes to new jobs, industrial competitiveness and economic growth in Africa and Europe.  The workshop provides space to discuss the role of policies in FNSSA research and innovation. Stakeholders from AU and EU member states can share experiences on science-based outreach and evidence-informed policymaking.

The hybrid workshop will be held on 22nd-23rd June 2022 via Zoom and at Science and Technology Policy Research Institute (STEPRI-CSIR) in Ghana.
